If a part must be accurate in the micro range, grinding the component is usually the only option. With our grinding machines, we can bring your components back to the required dimensions. At the same time, if required, we can bring them back to their original dimensions by chrome-plating the seats or cones.
Our Tacchella Elektra UA 1700 cylindrical grinding machine has a tip width of 1700 mm and can thus grind shafts completely, up to 1640 mm. Thanks to a C-axis, we are also able to grind polygon shapes or crankshafts without any problems.
